This phrase which I sometimes hear that is referred to Science issues, is in fact, the opposite of Science. Science is learning experiences where we continually learn more. If a person says to you that the "Discussion is Closed" know that their term has nothing to do with Science, but everything to do with intimidating you into some unproven belief system. They are also treating you with huge disrespect. What if you have questions? What if you or your family or friends are very much being hurt by this decision? The speaker is saying that they just do not care about your questions or any harm done to you.

This is not Science, and this is not humane. This is an intimidation tactic to get you to simply believe and follow whatever you are being told. And what makes this even harder on some humans, is that those humans know that they are often smarter Scinece wise, or for social needs, than the non caring speaker.

Perhaps you might not want to argue with a person who says such things to you. Likely, they would not listen to you anyway. But know that what they will be speaking about you has nothing at all to do with Science, which must prove itself each day, or concern for your well being, since you are being told you cannot object.


		Book Logic, Science, God, and Human Intelligence In this book I tried to explore how far Human Intelligence has come, and how far logic can take us beyond that. And my approach was with an open mind trying to be free from at least the normal ideologies that surround us daily. What I found surprised me. Not the answer ... but that many times we are simply asking the wrong questions. We know now more than we used to. Science has gone far. We know a bit about Science and the Universe even though there is much more to know. Regardless of what we believe and wish to believe, we should at least get our thinking and our discussions into the 21st century. Some of the old arguments on all sides no longer seem to make sense, at least to me, when we view them with our 21st century logic. Is this book meant to convince you of anything? No. That would make it just another ideology. The purpose is to do much the opposite ... to get the reader to think about things that perhaps they never thought about before, but armed with at least human intelligence. And then... the new thinking may surprise you ... as it also surprised me at times.
