Our General Goals at OnP for Mesh Products are as Follows:
Note: Click on the Links above for items you wish more information on. GENERAL Actually in almost all cases of all of the products that we make at OnP Owl and Pussycat, they did not begin with as something to sell. They begin with something we ourselves wanted. Mesh in Second Life has been in our minds the greatest move forward. However, we see that it has gone through stages. Some of the first items, except for a select few, did not start out well and often needed alpha changes - making parts of the mesh body below - disappear in order to avoid conflicts. Some would not work even then. And then some companies improved. Some places were able to make much better clothes. However, as we got more and more into mesh design, we found additional issues. We found that if on a crowded sim that complexity matters and someone might not see you at all. And so if a mesh designer was not concerned about that, their lovely item might not be seen on crowded sims. And then later we realized that oddly that sometimes even the best mesh clothes designers were unrealistic in that they did not often allow space under the clothes for mesh underclothes. Is that not simply real life? The option for clothes beneath? And then we also found that many high heels and boots did not allow space for mesh nylons, and sometimes some of the parts of the nylons would show through. Again, is it not common to wear socks or nylons in real life? And so, with all of this, we set out to set goals for our own items. We try to keep things low complexity. We try to allow at least in some dresses, some sizes even in Fitmesh that might allow underclothes below. And yes, on purpose, our tight jean shorts, other shorts and slacks try to be skin tight and unlike dresses do not often have options for underclothes. Then since few high heels and boots allowed for the usage of nylons, we decided to do our own high heels and boots just to try and fix that issue... at least with our own nylons. We care so much about that that we even give away our first commercial high heel free - so people can use it with nylons if there is no alternative. Does all this make us the best around? That is for customers to decide. And we also like our own HUDs more than most others since they sometimes allow not only color change, but at times also texture change and transparency change. That sort of makes many of our clothes items what others might call a "fat pack" but are just included with the basic product. So yes, our Fitmesh clothes were designed to these goals. But of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Hope some others like our Fitmesh products also. thanks! Hope you enjoy our products Visit us at the Owl and Pussycat Mall
