MULTITIMBRAL MUSIC CHORD
|
MULTITIMBRAL Multitimbral means the maximum number of musical instrument sounds (such as piano, or violin sound) that can be played at one time. The term multitimbral is often used, for example, for midi keyboards since electronic musicians are often very concerned how many musical instrument sounds can be played at once in a musical piece. There is something of a catch to this specification. Some sounds made by electronic keyboards may be a combination of two instrument sounds - and thus the number of Multitimbral possibilities does not always mean the number of distinct parts - it may mean fewer distinct parts. |
