6:5 BLACKJACK BLACKJACK TERMS DICTIONARY
|
6:5 BLACKJACK In the game of Blackjack, the term 6:5 blackjack means that the player cannot expect to be paid the usual 3 to 2 win when the player receives a blackjack. For a player blackjack in the normal game and the dealer does not the casino pays 3 to 2 or 1.5 to one. This means that if the player bet $10 then the player would received their original $10 back plus another $15 from the dealer. In 6:5 blackjack though, the blackjack pay is only 1.2 to one. Therefore if the player gets a blackjack in 6:5 blackjack and the dealer does not and if the player had bet the same $10, then the player would receive his original $10 back (as before) but he or she would receive only $12 additional from the dealer instead of $15. Does this matter? Absolutely. It of course is in favor of the casino. The change is big enough such that even normal 6 or 8 deck blackjack has better odds than 6:5 single deck. However, 6:5 blackjack is one of the options that can be played with the rpsoft 2000 blackjack game that has a link from the below information. |
